Maui Math Circle Session 2
On Sunday, April 15, 2018, middle and high school students from Baldwin High School, Iao Intermediate, Maui High School, Maui Waena Intermediate, and Seabury Hall volunteered at Pomaika'i Elementary School for the second session of the Maui Math Circle to help students learn advanced math concepts and problem solving skills.
There were nearly 70 students from third, fourth, and fifth grade in attendance. The students learned about perimeter and area, fractions and percentages, and area and volume.
We would like to thank our adult volunteers: Aaron Joyo, Clarice Lee, and Adrienne Wong.
