Maui Math Circle Session 1
On Sunday, April 8, 2018, middle and high school students from Baldwin High School, Iao Intermediate, Maui High School, Maui Waena Intermediate, and Seabury Hall volunteered at Pomaika'i Elementary School for the first session of the Maui Math Circle to help students learn advanced math concepts and problem solving skills.
There were nearly 70 students from third, fourth, and fifth grade in attendance. The students learned about money, probability, and arithmetic sequences.
We would like to thank our adult volunteers: Clarice Lee, Michele Sera, and Adrienne Wong.
